SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 44

Expressing sadness at the passing of the Honorable James Ned Grubb, former member of the Senate of West Virginia and judge of the 7th judicial circuit of West Virginia.

Whereas, The Honorable James Ned Grubb was born January 8, 1935, in McDowell County, West Virginia; and
Whereas, The public service of the Honorable James Ned Grubb included service to the citizens of Logan County, West Virginia, as a prosecuting attorney and member of the Logan County board of education; and
Whereas, The Honorable James Ned Grubb was elected to the Senate of West Virginia in 1977. His involvement in public service and private philanthropy had an impact on the lives of many; and
Whereas, The passing of the Honorable James Ned Grubb on April 16, 1997, has saddened his family and friends; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby expresses its sincere sadness at the passing of the Honorable James Ned Grubb, former member of the Senate of West Virginia and judge of the 7th judicial circuit of West Virginia; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the family of the late Honorable James Ned Grubb.
